The reporter wants Tolaria to let users create a new note directly inside a chosen folder instead of always creating it at the vault root first and moving it manually afterwards.
Requested behavior:
  • Right-click a folder and show an action like
    New Note in this Folder
  • Or let the user choose the destination folder during note creation
Why this matters:
  • removes a clumsy manual move step from a common flow
  • makes folder-based organization feel more direct and predictable
  • fits users who structure vaults around folders rather than creating notes only at the root
