I just opened this issue on github. Short version: the modal works but does not show the option when there are no subfolders.

P.s. I appreciate that Tolaria is opinionated about folders and this is a really nice piece of software. But FWIW I think you either remove all folder-based features, or they need to work like people's mental models of files and folders typically work.

I dont think that either the drag n drop or the right click Move to Folder is avialable in MacOS... please let me know exactly where it is if that is not the case, because I haven't found it yet

This is already supported in Tolaria.

You can drag a note from the note list onto a folder in the sidebar to move it there. If you prefer the keyboard, open the note and run from the Command Palette.
