A user asked whether Tolaria's MCP server should expose a
create_note
tool, or whether external agents are expected to write Markdown files directly to the filesystem. The underlying request is for first-class MCP write tools that let connected AI clients create and edit notes through Tolaria's vault-aware conventions instead of bypassing the app.

I already configured claude to do just that. Working well!

I feel there should not be specific MCPs for this, because the agent can simply create and edit files from the filesystem! It's way faster and it understands well how to do it

Luca Rossi when having a global vault, outside of the agent runner filesystem context, this feature would be useful, e.g. to avoid giving an agent permissions to write outside of its current directory
