Source issue:
- #607 UI/UX Improvements: Button Panel Collapse, Context Menu, and Grid View for Notes — https://github.com/refactoringhq/tolaria/issues/607
Reporter:
- GitHub login: abstramagic27
Original context from GitHub:
This request asks for a right-click context menu on notes in the note list so common note-management actions are easier to discover and faster to use.
Requested behavior:
- Right-click a note in the list to open a context menu
- Include actions such as duplicate, move, delete, copy note link, and rename
- Keep the flow efficient for users who manage notes from the list rather than opening each note first
Why this matters:
- reduces friction for common note-management actions
- makes note-list workflows feel more direct
- complements keyboard-heavy flows with a standard mouse affordance
Note:
- The same GitHub issue also mentioned header-button organization and a grid/card notes view, which are already tracked separately on Canny.

I agree! I know you can also duplicate, move in other ways, but having it as a right click would be a great interaction add. That was my first instinct when I started using the tool.
Maybe in the future, being able to drag-drop as a way to move could be great. I am unsure if that's a current capability.
